Job Description

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Aftermarket Sales Executive to join our team. This role is designed for a candidate who values a deep understanding of internal operations before moving into a high-impact sales position.
  • The successful candidate will spend the first 3–4 months providing administrative and coordination support to master our internal processes. Following this period, the role will transition into a proactive sales position, focusing on upselling parts and services to our existing client base to hit sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Phase 1: Operational & Administrative Support (Months 1–4)

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the aftermarket team to learn internal workflows.
  • Handle the preparation and record-keeping for quotations, proposals, offers, and orders.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to follow up on communications and deliveries.
  • Compile and organize market or customer data while maintaining structured filing systems for easy retrieval.
  • Assist in managing and updating the company’s professional social media presence (e.g., LinkedIn and Facebook).

Phase 2: Sales & Client Engagement (Month 4 Onwards)

  • Reinforce and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to solicit new business.
  • Develop new sales opportunities and follow up with existing clients to consistently meet sales targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans specifically tailored to the aftermarket sector.
  • Evaluate customer needs and conduct market research to identify opportunities for upselling parts and services.
  • Front the aftermarket clients directly, which may include outstation travel and site visits.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or administrative support, preferably within the Heavy Equipment, Machinery, or Construction industries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable using social media platforms and basic design tools like Canva.
  • Must possess a valid driving license and own vehicle for client visits and outstation travel.
  • Engineers with strong motivation and a willingness to transition to aftermarket sales scopes are welcome to apply.
