Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on AI Transformation Senior Engineer/Lead to work directly with our CEO (Founder). You will identify operational challenges, design practical AI and automation solutions, and lead projects from planning and testing through implementation and adoption across our business. This is a business transformation role, not solely a software development position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead OS Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of the ioshii innovation OS, integrating operational information, tasks, communications, SOPs, and management reporting.
• Process Optimization: Assess restaurant and headquarters workflows, identify inefficiencies, and deliver practical improvements using AI, automation, and digital tools.
• AI Workflow Development: Develop AI-supported workflows for sales analysis, customer feedback, morning meetings, action tracking, and follow-up reporting.
• Knowledge Management: Organize company knowledge and operating standards into accessible, reusable systems and AI-assisted tools.
• Menu Innovation: Support AI-enabled menu research, development, and analysis in collaboration with relevant teams.
• End-to-End Project Execution: Manage transformation projects end-to-end: requirements, prototypes, pilots, rollout, staff adoption, and ongoing improvements.
• On-Site Collaboration: Visit outlets, collaborate with frontline and management teams, and coordinate external engineers or technology partners when required.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor results, resolve implementation issues, and scale successful solutions across Malaysia operations.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience delivering AI, automation, digital transformation, or business process improvement projects.
• Able to independently analyze problems, propose solutions, and drive implementation through to measurable operational outcomes.
• Strong project management, stakeholder coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident working with outlet managers, frontline employees, headquarters staff, and external developers.
• Working familiarity with generative AI and automation tools, and an understanding of integrations, data, and digital workflows.
• Willing to visit restaurant outlets and work closely with operational teams.
• Good command of English.

• Industry Experience: Background in F&B, hospitality, retail, or multi-outlet operations.
• Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, AI agents, Make, Zapier, n8n, APIs, POS systems, or reporting dashboards.
