Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting and overseeing the organisation’s accounting, finance and reporting activities. The position will manage daily accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable and the general ledger while supporting financial analysis, reporting and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-spectrum accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, month-end closing and preparation of financial statements.
• Oversee daily accounting operations covering accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
• Conduct variance analysis, monitor financial performance and support budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies and applicable tax requirements, including SST, VAT, GST and corporate income tax.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure proper management of working capital requirements.
• Manage intercompany billing and account reconciliations.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff while improving accounting workflows and operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties or special assignments as required by senior management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA or CMA would be an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Experience in auditing or the construction industry would be an advantage.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ERP systems.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Able to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
