Role Overview:

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will take charge of driving sales and recruitment for engineering roles. This role is more than filling vacancies — it’s about understanding technical requirements, translating them into recruitment outcomes, and consistently exceeding targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly placement and revenue targets.
  • Understand clients’ engineering needs and translate them into clear job specifications.
  • Source, screen, and qualify candidates for engineering and technical positions.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of engineering talent through networks, referrals, and platforms.
  • Sell recruitment and talent solutions to engineering clients; negotiate contracts and manage client relationships.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle: job posting, candidate screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Provide insights to clients on market trends, salary benchmarks, and talent availability.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Background or strong understanding of engineering disciplines. Candidates with prior engineering experience who want to transition into a sales-driven role are highly encouraged.
  • Sales-oriented and money-driven, with proven ability (or desire) to work towards clear targets and incentives.
  • Result-driven with strong resilience to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to assess technical CVs and ask the right questions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage both clients and candidates.
  • Familiar with using social media platforms for talent sourcing and recruitment context; being well-versed in algorithms such as RedNote or Xiao Hong Shu (小红书) to attract and engage candidates is a strong advantage.
  • Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
