Job Description

We are seeking a .NET Backend Engineer to support our client's full software development lifecycle — from requirements analysis, coding, testing, and documentation to deployment and maintenance. The role involves developing high-quality backend services that meet technical specifications, follow application standards, and support business needs.

• Analyze and translate user requirements into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend application programs using .NET technologies, following best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct unit and integration testing, document test results, and implement necessary changes.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), including preparing checklists, conducting briefings, and supporting end users.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for system operations and support.
• Participate in project briefings with development and support teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues post-implementation, providing timely support to users.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system quality and reliability.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, etc.), relational databases (SQL Server), and object-oriented programming.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in application development or software testing.
• Familiarity with system development life cycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies.
• Exposure to insurance or financial services domain is an added advantage.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
