BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & SALES -
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for infrastructure products and solutions.
Proactively prospect new clients through cold calling, referrals, networking, and market research.
Manage and grow existing customer accounts by upselling and cross-selling infrastructure solutions.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, quotations, and tenders.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve sales targets and profitability.
CLIENT & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT -
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
Understand clients’ IT infrastructure needs and propose suitable solutions.
Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the sales cycle.
Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development.
PRODUCT & MARKET KNOWLEDGE -
Maintain strong knowledge of infrastructure products such as servers, storage, networking, virtualization, backup, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions.
Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to design and propose solutions.
REPORTING & COORDINATION -
Achieve assigned sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives.
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and activity updates for management.
Coordinate with internal teams (technical, operations, finance) to ensure smooth project delivery and billing.
GENERAL -
To perform other duties at the discretion of the superior and/ or the Management.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT sales or business development, preferably in infrastructure products or solutions.
Experience dealing with corporate, SME, or enterprise customers is an advantage.
Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business value.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
Good presentation and proposal-writing skills.
Willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
Experience with vendors such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, Microsoft, or similar.
Existing customer or partner network within the Malaysian market is an added advantage.
