Job Description

A fast-growing company in the Fintech industry, offering end-to-end solutions such as merchant acquiring, POS systems, online gateways, and card issuance, supporting over 20,000 merchants with secure multi-channel services, in the Fintech industry.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in the payment gateway and financial technology sector. The ideal candidate has strong exposure to banking and retail clients, with a proven ability to develop partnerships, expand client portfolios, and implement tailored payment solutions that meet diverse business needs.

Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the payment gateway sector.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions, retail merchants, and corporate clients.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and solution-based selling.
  • Collaborate with internal product, technical, and marketing teams to deliver customized payment solutions.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and negotiations to close deals effectively.
  • Ensure excellent post-sales support and client satisfaction to drive retention and upselling opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fields. 
  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience in the payments industry OR business development/sales-related roles. 
  • Adapt with a fast-growing fintech making waves in digital payments.
  • Work on high-impact projects that shape market expansion.
  • Be part of an innovative, collaborative culture that values growth and fresh ideas.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of card schemes, payment processes, or microloans is a plus.
