Job Description

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Proactively source and secure new clients across event production and audio equipment sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, and government bodies.
  • Attend client meetings and briefing sessions to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals to potential partners and clients, including government ministries and departments.

Proposal & Pitch Preparation

  • Develop creative and compelling proposals for event production and equipment rental/sales services.
    Customize quotations and presentations to match client needs and budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, creative, logistics) to align solutions before presenting to clients.

Sales & Customer Service

  • Provide prompt and professional after-sales support, follow-ups, and account servicing.
  • Ensure smooth communication between internal departments and clients throughout project execution.
  • Maintain updated client records and follow through on renewals, upsells, and repeat business opportunities.

Marketing &Market Research

  • Conduct market research to support strategic planning, pricing models, and promotional activities
  • Identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities in both the event and AV industries.
  • Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns, content, and brand positioning.

Administrative & Reporting Duties

  • Manage administrative tasks related to sales, including documentation, quotation preparation, and report submissions
  • Maintain organized records of client interactions, proposals, and project timelines.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or marketing within event production, AV rental, or related industries.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable meeting clients, attending briefings, and presenting proposals.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM tools is an added advantage.
  • Fluent in English, Malay and particularly proficient in Mandarin
