Job Description

This role drives new business growth within the food service and HoReCa segment and supports the company’s commercial expansion in Malaysia. It works closely with internal teams such as key account, supply chain, and sales operations to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term account development. The role is primarily office-based and requires a structured, execution-focused approach to sales planning and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development & Client Acquisition
Identify, approach, and develop new customers within food service, HoReCa, and related channels.
Build and manage a sales pipeline from prospecting to deal closure.

Sales Planning & Performance Tracking
Prepare sales plans, forecasts, and regular progress updates against targets.
Track opportunities, conversions, and revenue performance in a structured manner.

Distributor & Internal Coordination
Work closely with distributors and internal teams to align on pricing, availability, and order fulfilment.
Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to support smooth delivery and customer onboarding.

Account Development & Market Expansion
Support long-term growth of new accounts through consistent follow-ups and relationship management.
Participate in business reviews and contribute to market expansion initiatives.


Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales within the food industry.
  • Familiar with distributor-based sales models and order-to-delivery processes.
  • Structured and organised working style, comfortable with planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Commercially minded and confident working with sales targets and numbers.
  • Comfortable working mainly office-based with client meetings as required.
  • Mandarin speaking is mandatory, with good command of English.
