This role is responsible for establishing, managing, and leading the corporate finance function for the Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Kuala Lumpur, supporting the set-up of finance infrastructure, strong financial governance, and the company’s strategic and operational objectives.

Key Responsibility
<ul>
<li>Establish and manage local banking arrangements, ERP/accounting systems, and payroll funding and cash flow requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure full compliance with Malaysian statutory reporting, tax, and audit requirements, and adherence to the Group’s policies, procedures, and internal control framework.</li>
</ul>
ERP Implementation &amp; Systems Management 
<ul>
<li>Design, manage, and oversee end-to-end ERP implementation in collaboration with external consultants.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Finance Operations</h4>
<ul>
<li>Oversee day-to-day finance operations across Accounts Payable (P2P), Accounts Receivable (O2C), General Ledger (R2R), and cash management.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.</li>
<li>Develop, document, and continuously improve finance processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li>
</ul>
<h4>Financial Reporting &amp; Analysis</h4>
<ul>
<li>Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.</li>
<li>Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS, GAAP, and local statutory requirements.</li>
<li>Review and analyse financial performance, including variance analysis, and provide insights and recommendations to management.</li>
<li>Consolidate and report monthly financial results to the Group in a timely manner.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Statutory &amp; Tax Compliance</h4>
<ul>
<li>Prepare and file annual statutory financial statements for the local entity in compliance with local GAAP/IFRS.</li>
<li>Oversee local tax compliance, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT/GST, and Withholding Tax.</li>
<li>Act as the primary point of contact for external statutory audits and internal audits.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Budgeting, Forecasting &amp; Cost Management</h4>
<ul>
<li>Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.</li>
<li>Partner with Business Units (BUs) to track actuals vs budget/forecast, investigate variances, and support decision-making.</li>
<li>Monitor and control operating expenses, including review and approval of purchase requisitions and vendor invoices.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Transfer Pricing &amp; Chargebacks</h4>
<ul>
<li>Maintain and update the Transfer Pricing and Chargeback model.</li>
<li>Compute cost recharges to receiving Business Units based on agreed allocation methodologies (e.g. FTE, transaction volumes, time-tracking data).</li>
<li>Perform year-end true-up calculations to align recharges with actual costs versus budgeted rates.</li>
