Job Description

The Corporate Planning Officer will play a pivotal role in driving corporate growth, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, and supporting strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate combines legal expertise, business acumen, financial planning skills, and a proven track record in managing international partnerships.

Legal Compliance and Governance

  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments affecting the company’s operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.
  • Provide legal guidance on contracts, risk management, and dispute resolution for stakeholders.

Business Strategy Development

  • Partner with senior management to develop and implement corporate strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct market analysis and assess industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Formulate strategic plans to drive business expansion, market penetration, and revenue growth.

Corporate Financial Planning and Strategy

  • Assist in defining the company’s financial goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to prepare and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Identify key financial drivers and develop strategies to optimize capital allocation and resource utilization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with multiple departments and business units to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to advance strategic initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between senior management and operational teams.

Corporate Planning and International Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with overseas stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
  • Identify strategic collaboration opportunities to support business growth.
  • Coordinate with international teams to align corporate goals and initiatives across regions.

Ad-Hoc Projects

  • Perform any additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate planning, legal compliance, financial analysis, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, business law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal and financial documents.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and strategic planning techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience working with international teams or managing overseas partnerships is an advantage.
