Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Database Administrator to manage and maintain our client's company databases. You will ensure databases are secure, high-performing, and always available to support business operations.

  • Install, configure, and maintain databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Monitor database performance and resolve issues.
  • Manage backups, restoration, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Ensure database security, integrity, and access control.
  • Perform performance tuning (queries, indexes, configurations).
  • Support replication, clustering, and failover setup.
  • Work with developers on database design and application support.
  • Apply patches and upgrades.
  • Maintain documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of DBA experience.
  • Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of backup & recovery, performance tuning, and database security.
  • Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL) is a plus.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
