Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning – To lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with HOD and business goals such as brand awareness, lead generation and sales growth.
  • Campaign management – to conceptualize, launch and optimize performance-driven campaigns across all channels; Local HQ social media official platforms, SEM/SEO, Content Marketing, CRM, and support of partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Content & Creative Direction – Guide in creating compelling, brand-aligned content that resonates with local car buyers, vehicle showcases, product features, lifestyle narratives, also visual and content updates for website, ads and social media to maintain a fresh communication plan with existing customers and new customers. 
  • Performance & Analytics – To monitor campaign performances using Meta Analytics tool and provide weekly and monthly reports on the performance and leads generated based on the timeline requested.
  • SEO & Website Experience – To lead SEO strategy to boost organic visibility of the official website, enhance and improve keyword search and optimize based on requirements.
  • Social Media Leadership – To own the social media strategy from planning to execution with editorial calendars plannings, create content that increases community engagement, influencer partnerships and paid social amplification to drive deeper brand loyalty and awareness with wide conversations around the automotive brand.
  • Cross-function Management – To work with related departments such as Product, Aftersales and Sales to align the digital leads, new launches and features, creative content with vendors, agencies and media partners. 
  • Innovative Growth & Trends – To keep the automotive brand ahead by exploration of new trends and styles, marketing automation and performance technology.
  • Budgeting & Vendor Oversight – Oversee digital budgets for all communication and activities to negotiate contracts, evaluate campaign spend efficiency and drive cost-effective performance. 
  • Reporting – To provide timely reporting with in-depth details of the campaign/activities and next steps of improvement based on the execution done. 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, preferably in Automotive, Luxury, Lifestyle or consumer brands.
  • Proven track record of managing full-funnel digital campaigns
  • Experience working with regional or global brands is an added advantage
  • Communication proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese.
  • Strong knowledge of paid media platforms (Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, DOOH, etc.)
  • Full understanding of SEO, SEM, website optimization and UI/UX performance.
  • Familiar with CRM systems and functionality in line with leads funnel.
  • Experience managing media agencies and digital vendors.
  • Knowledge of luxury branding and able to evaluate tonality to maintain brand’s luxury positioning.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong project management and multitasking abilities.
