Job Description

• Design, develop, and review electrical systems, layouts, and technical drawings for projects.
• Prepare and interpret single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare quotations, including cost estimation and material take-offs.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, materials, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate closely with site supervisors to ensure smooth execution of site works.
• Support project execution from planning through to commissioning and handover.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Ensure all work complies with local regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and progress updates.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Support maintenance and improvement of existing electrical systems where required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction, M&E;, or industrial projects.
• Strong experience in designing electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience in preparing quotations and cost estimation.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing procurement processes.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards (e.g., MS, IEC).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant design software.
• Good understanding of power distribution, control systems, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required
