Job Description

• Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and panel layouts, in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, load calculations, and technical specifications for approval and implementation.
• Conduct equipment selection, sizing, and configuration based on design requirements and safety standards.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with design and safety specifications.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Perform regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems; implement corrective actions for non-compliance or faults.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation including electrical layouts, reports, and project progress records.
• Provide timely technical support and solutions to site issues and assist in resolving engineering challenges.
• Recommend improvements for design efficiency, cost optimization, and reliability enhancement.
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with electrical standards and technologies.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
• Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and control design.
• Familiar with local and international safety standards and electrical codes (e.g., IEC, MS, or equivalent).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software.
• Ability to conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, and system testing.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
• High sense of responsibility and commitment to quality and safety.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
