Job Description
The BDM is primarily responsible for identifying and securing new client contracts for ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new leads through prospecting, networking, and leveraging marketing campaigns.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to understand a prospect’s business processes and pain points.
- Solution Presentations: Lead high-level product demonstrations, often collaborating with technical pre-sales teams to show ERP value.
- Proposal & Contract Management: Draft complex technical proposals, negotiate terms, and oversee the transition to implementation teams.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends (e.g., AI-enabled ERP, cloud migration) and competitor activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Finance.
- 3–6 years in B2B software sales or enterprise account management.
- Strong understanding of ERP architecture, cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS), and business process automation.
- High-level negotiation, strategic thinking, and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical buyers.
