<p>An experienced and driven <strong>Finance Manager</strong> to lead financial operations for the <strong>Malaysian entity</strong> and support <strong>audit and tax matters for Singapore</strong>. This role reports directly to the <strong>Head of Finance</strong> and works closely with the <strong>Shared Service Centre (SSC)</strong> and regional teams across <strong>Asia Pacific</strong>.</p>

<p>The role plays a critical part in month-end closing, statutory compliance, tax management, audits, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal controls.</p>

<p><strong>Financial Operations</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Report to the Head of Finance and oversee day-to-day financial operations.</li>
<li>Partner closely with the SSC to manage month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting.</li>
<li>Support planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.</li>
<li>Prepare management reports for Senior Management review.</li>
<li>Manage cost allocation and intercompany recharges across Asia Pacific related entities.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Tax</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Ensure full compliance with applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements (e.g. SST, WHT, e-Invoicing).</li>
<li>Prepare and ensure timely submission of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) filings, including deferred tax computations and related tax matters with the Tax Authority.</li>
<li>Lead annual Transfer Pricing documentation and coordinate with external tax consultants to mitigate tax risks.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Audit &amp; Compliance</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate with external auditors on annual audit processes and required schedules for the Malaysian entity.</li>
<li>Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory filing requirements.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Process Improvement &amp; Regional Support</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Identify and implement best practices in internal controls and process improvements.</li>
<li>Support head office initiatives to enhance finance processes across the Asia Pacific region.</li>
<li>Support the Head of Finance in supervising financial operations for the Singapore entity, when required.</li>
<li>Participate in projects and ad-hoc assignments as assigned.</li>
</ul>
