i. Operational
• Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring all processes are processed in timely manner.
• Providing clear direction, support, and solutions to the team on escalated matters, and guidance to employees on company policies and procedures.
• Payroll : Ensuring all pay area are processed on time and meeting payout dateline.
• Review, and enforce human resources policies and procedures.
• Provide reports and analysis in support to internal and external stakeholders requirement.
• Streamline HR operations and processes with smart utilization of current HRMS software and tools looking for opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiency in the HR team.
ii. Manage and coach employees and team members
• Create awareness and promote practices of desired behaviour
• Develop team members by providing constructive feedback, guidance, and reinforcement on job performance
• Drive results by accepting responsibility when missed deadlines impact major project outcome
• Inculcate team spirit and focus on team success
iii. Performance Management
• Provide support to employees and leaders in cascading their goals and key performance to their team members via SAP-SF platform.
• Facilitate performance calibration to ensure there is a uniform standard of performance measurement across the organization
iv. Rewards (Compensations and Benefits)
• Lead the C&B portfolio for Company in areas related to salary and benefits benchmarking, review of salary ranges when required based on market/industry movements.
• Lead C&B projects for Company based on the direction and initiatives driven by the Group and looking at how they can be implemented in Company.
• Oversee the annual medical insurance renewal (Outpatient medical, H&S, Term Life and PA) by working with broker in coordination with the Group where necessary
• Resolve issues related to rewards to ensure employees are remunerated in accordance with the employment terms and conditions
• Implement and uphold performance-linked rewards strategies during year end bonus and increment exercise.
v. Compliance
• Serve as the HR subject matter expert to leaders, employees, and ensure that HR practices comply with employment laws and regulations.
• Review and identify gaps of legal requirements.
• Highlight areas of non- compliance and propose action plans to bring about compliance.
vi. Any other additional projects assigned from time to time
• Tertiary qualifications / Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, HRM or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in HR Ops & Payroll managing a small team, with solid background in HR operational, payroll, rewards, and compensations.
• In-depth knowledge of labour law, understanding of HR processes, best practices of current trend, legal requirements, and compliance related matters.
• Strong problem-solving skill with analytical mind.
• Language Proficiency (writing & oral), English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Package. i.e. : Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Soft skills : Workforce Management, Time Management, Performance Management, Coaching and Mentoring and Team Building.
• People oriented.
• HRMS : SAP-SF (full suite) & Rymnet will be added advantage
