Job Description

The IT Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening the organisation’s IT infrastructure and information security environment. The role focuses on protecting systems, networks and information while ensuring compliance with internal security policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day infrastructure security, identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, support security incidents, and work closely with internal teams and external auditors on security controls and remediation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure and security controls across servers, networks and systems.
• Identify IT risks, threats and vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Investigate security incidents and potential breaches, including documentation, reporting and post-incident reviews.
• Conduct IT security assessments, risk reviews and vulnerability assessments.
• Implement and maintain security solutions to support regulatory, corporate and industry compliance requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on system, network and application security controls.
• Support internal and external audits and follow up on remediation actions.
• Develop, maintain and review IT security policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Recommend improvements and enhancements to strengthen overall IT infrastructure and security.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT security technologies, IT general controls and IT processes.
• Strong hands-on experience with IT security and infrastructure solutions such as firewalls, routing, switching, IDS/IPS, WAF, VLAN, VPN, SIEM, endpoint security, vulnerability management and related technologies.
• Experience in IT security risk assessments, audit and compliance exercises, threat analysis and security documentation.
• CISSP, CISA or CISM certification will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and provide after-hours support for urgent incidents when required.
• Mandarin speaking is required.
