About the Role:

We are looking for Data Engineers at multiple experience levels to help us turn data into actionable insights and build reliable data systems that support business decisions. You will work with direct access to production data, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and contribute to analytics, reporting, and data infrastructure development.

If Junior Data Engineers:

You will focus on foundational data tasks and gain hands-on experience with real-world production data.

• Access, query, and analyze data from Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, validation, and transformation.
• Support dashboard and report creation using Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Assist in data collection, scraping, ingestion, and consolidation from multiple sources.
• Conduct basic data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Document data definitions, assumptions, and methodologies.
• Work closely with senior engineers and analysts to support analytics and reporting needs.

If Senior Data Engineers:

You will lead technical data initiatives, build scalable pipelines, and improve data architecture.

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for structured and unstructured data.
• Optimize database performance, indexing, and query efficiency.
• Architect and manage data models, schemas, and data warehouses.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability across systems.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams on data infrastructure needs.
• Develop automated data workflows using tools such as Airflow, dbt, SSIS, or similar.
• Support cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Mentor junior team members and establish best practices.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

For Junior Data Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong SQL fundamentals (Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
• Basic Python skills for data analysis and automation.
• Understanding of relational databases and data concepts.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly.
• Eager to learn and work with production data systems.

For Senior Data Engineers

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar roles.
• Advanced SQL skills with query optimization and indexing experience.
• Strong Python skills for data processing and automation.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and data warehouses.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and distributed systems.
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with web scraping
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms
• Exposure to machine learning or predictive analytics
• Experience with legacy systems
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Experience in data modeling and warehouse design
