Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Education Counsellor (Junior) to support students who are planning to pursue higher education locally and overseas. You will guide students through the process of selecting suitable courses and universities, while assisting them with applications and admissions.

In this role, you will engage with prospective students through digital platforms, providing guidance on study pathways and supporting them throughout their application journey. You will also work closely with the team to convert inquiries into successful enrolments while ensuring a smooth and positive experience for students.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling

• Provide guidance to students on suitable courses, universities, and study pathways
• Support students in making informed decisions about their higher education plans
• Build trust with students and parents throughout the counselling process

Student Applications

• Assist students with university applications, documentation, and submission processes
• Provide guidance on scholarships, admissions requirements, and related information
• Ensure applications are submitted accurately and within required timelines

Lead Management

• Follow up on leads from online inquiries, walk-ins, calls, and recruitment activities
• Maintain consistent communication with prospective students throughout the application process
• Convert inquiries into successful applications and enrolments

Events & Engagement

• Support recruitment activities such as education fairs, school visits, and university events
• Participate in campaigns that promote study opportunities and scholarships
• Maintain strong engagement with students throughout their decision-making journey

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the counselling team to share knowledge and best practices
• Maintain updated knowledge of universities, courses, and international education pathways
• Contribute to achieving team targets and enrolment goals

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Marketing, Communication, or related fields
  1 – 2 years working experience in education consulting, student recruitment, or related roles
• Knowledge of international education systems, particularly universities in Australia, UK, Ireland, and New Zealand
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with online counselling and digital communication with students
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and organisation skills
• Sales-driven mindset and ability to convert leads into student enrolments
• Able to work under pressure and achieve enrolment targets
• Willing to work overtime during peak periods and respond to student inquiries at night
• when necessary
• Willing to travel for education fairs, school visits, and recruitment events
• Prefered mandarin speakers (Read & write)
