Job Description

Join a fast-growing education platform where you will guide students in making important decisions about their education while developing strong counselling, communication and sales skills.

As an Education Counsellor, you will support students throughout their education journey, from identifying suitable courses and universities to completing their applications and enrolment. This is a results-driven role where success is measured through successful student enrolments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide online counselling and guidance to students enquiring about further education opportunities.
  • Understand students' needs, interests and academic backgrounds to recommend suitable courses and universities.
  • Assist students in shortlisting and applying to colleges and universities locally and overseas.
  • Guide students and parents throughout the application and enrolment process.
  • Communicate and provide excellent service to students and parents primarily through WhatsApp and other communication channels.
  • Follow up closely with student enquiries and leads to drive successful enrolments.
  • Work towards individual enrolment targets, with performance measured based on successful student enrolments.
  • Participate in school visits, education fairs, company events and other student engagement activities.
  • Travel for company events when required.
  • Remain responsive to students and parents when necessary, including communication outside typical working hours.
  • Support weekend activities and student enquiries when required, particularly during peak enrolment periods.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in any field is preferred.
  • Diploma holders may be considered for candidates with a particularly strong academic record and overall profile.
  • Minimum CGPA of 3.0 and above.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with 1–3 years of working experience or those looking for a career switch may also be considered.
  • Able to speak, read and write in Mandarin, as the role supports a predominantly Chinese-speaking student market.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Goal-driven, energetic and comfortable working in a results-oriented environment.
  • Genuine interest in helping and advising students while also being comfortable working towards enrolment targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills when engaging with students and parents.
  • Responsive, professional and proactive in communication.
  • Willing to work beyond regular hours when required to support student enquiries.
  • Willing to work on weekends when necessary, particularly during peak periods.
  • Willing to travel for company events when required.
  • Candidates should be prepared to commit and grow in the role for the longer term.
