About the Role

We're looking for a driven and commercially sharp Junior Enterprise Sales Executive to support our growth in Malaysia. You'll work closely with senior sales leaders, helping identify enterprise prospects, manage early-stage sales activities, support deal cycles, and build lasting customer relationships.

This is an ideal role for someone with some hands-on experience selling software solutions who wants to grow into a full enterprise sales role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Pipeline & Prospecting

  • Identify, research, and qualify enterprise prospects across key industries (e.g., industrial logistics, manufacturing, maritime, retail).
  • Conduct outreach through email, social channels, events, and calls to generate new opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate prospect data and ensure CRM pipeline hygiene.

2. Sales Support & Deal Execution

  • Support senior sales managers in managing enterprise deals from qualification through contract signing.
  • Prepare sales materials, including presentations, proposals, ROI models, and solution-fit summaries.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Pre-Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success) to ensure smooth deal progression.
  • Participate in discovery calls, product demonstrations, and customer workshops when required.

3. Customer Engagement

  • Understand customer challenges, objectives, workflows, and buying processes.
  • Assist in preparing tailored demonstrations and value-based sales presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with prospects and customers.

4. Market & Product Knowledge

  • Stay up to date with the product roadmap, new features, and the competitive landscape.
  • Develop a solid understanding of enterprise software buying cycles, including procurement, proof of concepts (POCs), compliance, budgeting, and approval processes.
  • Share customer insights and market feedback with the Product and Marketing teams.

5. Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Track key sales KPIs, including new leads, pipeline coverage, opportunity volume, and conversion rates.
  • Ensure compliance with internal sales processes and deal governance.

Job Requirements

Must Have

  • 1–3 years of experience in software sales, SaaS, or technology business development.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and software procurement processes (e.g., RFPs, vendor onboarding, POCs, pricing models).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with managers, directors, and department heads.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business value.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.
  • Based in Kuala Lumpur or willing to relocate.

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling to enterprise customers in Malaysia or the wider Southeast Asia (SEA) region.
  • Exposure to supply chain industries such as retail, industrial logistics, manufacturing, or maritime.
  • Prior involvement in Proof of Concepts (POCs) or technical scoping alongside a pre-sales team.
  • Understanding of SaaS pricing models, subscription billing, and renewals.
