• Referral for further Investigation – Sends cases to internal or external teams for deeper assessment.
• Coordination with Legal/Compliance – Works with legal or compliance teams when uncovering extensive fraud activity.
5. Reporting and Documentation
• Maintaining Audit Records – Keeps detailed records of flagged or rejected applications for audit and regulatory review.
• Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) – Files SARs if required under local AML or fraud reporting regulations.
6. Post-Approval Review
• Credit Review of Approved Cases – Evaluates the Credit Team’s approval decisions, ensuring compliance with Toyota Capital CAT guidelines.
• Quality Assessment of Credit Processes – Reviews credit risk management, including deviations from product guidelines or policies and thoroughness in the approval process.
• Post-Mortem Review of early delinquent / early Non-Performing Accounts – Determines root causes and provides recommendations for improvement. (First-defaulter account listing provided by Asset Management monthly.)
7. Fraud Trend Analysis
• Monitoring Alerts from Fraud Detection Systems – Identifies suspicious activities through fraud detection tools.
• Investigating Fraud Patterns – Examines behavioral trends to detect emerging fraud strategies.
• Providing Recommendations for Risk Management Enhancements – Suggests rule improvements based on trend analysis findings.
8. Support in CCRIS reporting to BNM & rectification (ad hoc)
9. Handling projects in expanding the scope of work for the department.
• Degree holder in Business / Commerce / Economics / Finance / Banking or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 8- 12 years of experience in credit evaluation function • Possess CCE or CCR certificate
• Have experience in fraud detection / investigation in discharging the duty in credit •
Exposure to CCRIS and attending to BNM request (added advantage) •
Strong leadership and people management skills. Experience in leading a team
