Job Description

Job Summary:

  • The Product Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and performance of SSM e-Info and Certification Authority (CA) products. This role oversees Product Executives, ensures alignment with business objectives, drives product roadmap execution, and maintains compliance with regulatory and operational requirements. The Product Manager acts as the key decision-maker for product direction, prioritization, and delivery. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Define and own the product roadmap for SSM e-Info and CA services. 
  • Prioritize product enhancements, features, and system improvements based on business needs and stakeholder input. 
  • Ensure alignment between product direction, revenue goals, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Approve functional requirements (URS), test scope, and product changes prepared by Product Executives. 
  • Oversee product pricing strategy, packaging, and positioning. 

2. Product Development & Execution Oversight

  • Supervise Product Executives in executing roadmap and enhancement plans. 
  • Provide direction on system enhancement requests and ensure proper prioritization. 
  • Monitor overall development progress, risks, and issue resolution. 
  • Ensure proper documentation standards are maintained (URS, test scripts, product documentation). 
  • Ensure accurate tracking of service requests, enhancements, and operational changes. 

3. Testing, Deployment & Go-Live Governance

  • Oversee SIT, UAT, and FAT planning and execution. 
  • Approve test results, sign-offs, and readiness for deployment. 
  • Ensure proper defect management and resolution before go-live. 
  • Lead go-live planning, deployment strategy, and post-launch monitoring. 
  • Ensure successful execution of product launches including marketing alignment. 

4. Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the primary point of accountability for all product-related matters
  • Manage communication with internal stakeholders including IT, QA, Operations, Compliance, and Marketing. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of product status, risks, and milestones. 
  • Align business, technical, and operational teams towards common delivery goals. 
  • Escalate critical issues and provide resolution strategies. 

5. Compliance, Risk & Governance (Especially for CA)

  • Ensure all CA-related processes comply with regulatory and security requirements. 
  • Maintain proper separation of duties and governance standards in CA operations. 
  • Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure audit readiness. 
  • Ensure product and system changes do not compromise integrity, confidentiality, or trust. 

6. Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor product performance, system stability, and service delivery quality. 
  • Identify improvement opportunities and drive optimization initiatives. 
  • Ensure proper maintenance of product documentation, pricing, and feature updates. 
  • Review operational reports and ensure service KPIs are met. 

7. Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead and manage Product Executives across SSM e-Info and CA products. 
  • Provide guidance, task prioritization, and performance monitoring. 
  • Ensure clear delegation of responsibilities and accountability. 
  • Support team development and capability building. 

8. Client & Market Support

  • Support key client engagements related to product offerings. 
  • Ensure product positioning and awareness initiatives are aligned with business goals. 
  • Provide input into marketing strategies and product communication. 

9. Other Responsibilities

  • Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and security in all product-related activities. 
  • Maintain strong understanding of company products and services. 
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management. 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in IT or Product Management related course.
  • Experience in managing IT product development and IT product management.
  • Experience in digital/IT product full lifecycle.
  • Exposure in government related projects.
