Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Source and identify qualified suppliers in Malaysia.
- Update account managers of potential suppliers.
- Seeking, contacting, visiting, negotiating, follow up with qualified suppliers.
- Obtain and collate supplier company profile and basic information.
- Coordinate sampling and development of products by working closely with Engineering department
- Tracking & updating daily sourcing progress.
- Summarizing regular reports to supervisor.
- Researching for new industry opportunities and expanding supplier base in Malaysia and neighboring countries in Asia.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in any field.
- Minimum 1 year working experience in merchandising.
- Self-started, must be able to work unsupervised and generate report on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin).
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT, email and other office software.
- Good interperoperating procedures manual.
- Must be able to travel outstation with short notice.
- Selected candidate will be required to go to China for training for two weeks prior to commencement of work.
