Job Description

We are looking for a Network Engineer to focus on network design, architecture, configuration, and implementation — covering everything from the Ethernet layer onwards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end network architectures, including VLAN, QoS, IP planning, routing, and switching topologies.
• Configure and implement tunnelling solutions such as GRE, L2TP, IPsec, and MPLS.
• Integrate 4G/LTE FWA, BWA backhaul, and GPON/FTTH into hybrid fibre-wireless network solutions.
• Configure NMS monitoring systems and develop network automation using scripting.
• Create network configuration templates and standardised deployment processes.
• Prepare technical sections for tenders and develop switching/transport BOMs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network deployments.
• Conduct technical training for channel partners on network design and tunnelling best practices.

Job Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in network engineering, design, or architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with switching, routing, and network tunnelling in an enterprise, ISP, telco, or system integrator environment.
• Solid knowledge of VLANs, OSPF, ACLs, GRE, L2TP, and IPsec.
• Good understanding of 4G/LTE, BWA, and GPON/FTTH architectures.
• Experience with NMS/Network Monitoring Systems and basic scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
• Good communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
