Overview
Our client is a global construction and engineering contractor specializing in complex industrial and infrastructure developments. The Procurement Engineer will oversee material sourcing, supplier negotiations, and timely delivery for major Johor-based projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project material requirements and coordinate with design teams.
- Source and evaluate suppliers; prepare RFQs and negotiate pricing.
- Manage purchase orders, logistics, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure all procurement activities meet quality and compliance standards.
- Support site and QA/QC teams in material inspections and documentation.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and cost tracking reports.
Job Requirements
- egree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement or project materials coordination.
- Experience in construction or M&E procurement preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin an advantage.
