Job Description

    Job Purpose:

    • Are you passionate about connecting customers with products that meet their needs? Join us as a Product Specialist, Telemarketing, where you'll have the opportunity to market personal line products to customers through outbound efforts and provide exceptional service for inbound sales inquiries. 
    • You will also take charge of achieving sales goals and finding new ways to grow your customer base with cross-selling and up-selling strategies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Achieve sales target KPIs, call quality and operational standards;
    • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling;
    • Handle and follow up with customer enquiries with confidence;
    • Convert leads provided by the bank to sales through telemarketing activities;
    • Ensure calls are conducted with full adherence to regulations and in line with Quality Assurance standards;
    • Liaise with internal departments on policy fulfillment;
    • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
    • Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Comfortable with outbound calls and stakeholder interactions
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Patient and resilient to handle rejection and objections
  • Independent, organized, and positive worker with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good team player with ability to multi-task and meets high service standards;
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and able to mulit-task to efficiently reply to enquiries; 
  • Meticulous in documentation and fulfillment work
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
  • Relevant insurance certifications such as BCP, PGI and HI will be a plus point;
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry will be advantageous;

Remuneration Package:

  • Basic Salary: S$2800 to S$3500 depending on telesales and outbound call experiences (in SGD)
  • Commission
