Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:
Provide independent oversight of the project and management of the entire project from installation to contractor management.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage project development from initiation to closure
• Be accountable for project results along with project lead/sponsor.
• Work with project lead/sponsor, team members and stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing.
• Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort and time required for each task.
• Provide a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed.
• Guide and direct team members to ensure compliance with set standards, procedures and guidelines. Clearly communicate expectations to team members.
• Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis to ensure timelines are met and project outcomes are optimized.
• Develop internal communication strategies in ensuring communication between various departments.
• Resolve issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle.
• Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented, approved and communicated.
• Determine if external resources will be required to complete the project plan. If required, recruit and manage appropriate staffing resources
• Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to the management.
• Determine how results will be measured and complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results are achieved.
• Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution.
• Ensure all project documents are properly archived following project completion. 

Job Requirements

•  More than 5 years of working experience in Project Management in BMS/BAS industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics is a MUST and equivalent work experiences
• Must have a valid CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) license.
• Project experience: Full cycle BMS experience in commercial building, at any point of time need to run multiple projects.
• Strong in People Management, and Team Management skills. Able to manage employees that are more senior than himself/herself.
