Job Description

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end management of data center construction projects as one of the specialist contractors, focusing on civil and structural works.

• Develop project schedules, milestones, and resource plans aligned with client requirements.

• Coordinate with client design team, other sub-contractors, suppliers and internal procurement and production team to ensure timely delivery.

2. Technical Oversight

• Review shop drawings, and technical submissions.

• Ensure site work complies with international standards (BS, ASTM, ISO), local building codes and client’s expectations on quality.

• Oversee internal QAQC team, inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.

• Attend and lead key discussions with client on technical proposals, variation works.

3. Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, and other sub-contractors.

• Prepare progress reports and update top management in timely manner.

• Manage disputes, variations, and claims with fairness and documented facts.

4. Cost & Procurement

• Monitor monthly claim projections and ensure site progress aligns with the projection.

• Take initiative to lead discussions with supplier in the event where deliveries are

urgently required to meet project timeline.

5. Team Leadership

• Mobilize and manage project teams, ensuring safety and productivity.

• Mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of accountability and

excellence.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction project management, data center management experience will be an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of steel structures installation, retaining wall is required.

• Familiarity with QA/QC standards, risk documentation, and dispute resolution.

• Excellent communication skills, with ability to adapt tone for clients, consultants, and site teams.

• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project or equivalent).
