Job Description

    Our client is currently looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) cum Business Analyst (BA) to join their dynamic team. This hybrid role requires a detail-oriented individual who can bridge business needs with system functionalities while ensuring software quality and reliability.

    Responsibilities

    • Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Translate these requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
    • Requirement Study for Client and System in Manufacturing Execution System (MES): Conduct in-depth requirement analysis for clients and system functionalities within MES to ensure alignment with business needs.
    • Process Improvement: Analyze existing business processes and propose enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
    • Software Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality and adherence to business requirements.
    • Test Case Development: Create comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test data for manual and automated testing.
    • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to resolve them.
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with stakeholders to validate system functionality.
    • System Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation, including requirements, test cases, and user manuals.
    • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure successful project execution.
    • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize BI tools to analyze data and generate insights that support business decision-making.

Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a combined QA and BA role or relevant experience in both fields.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into system functionalities.
    • Experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing methodologies.
    • Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
    • Knowledge of ERP or enterprise systems is a plus.
    • Experience in requirement study for client and system functionalities within MES.
    • Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) tools for data analysis and reporting.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
