Job Description

Our client is a technology solutions provider specializing in custom software development, enterprise applications, and digital transformation services to global companies.

As a QA Specialist, you will develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in QA processes.

• Review, analyze, develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements to ensure full test coverage.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and system integration testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Execute predefined test cases to detect software defects and provide detailed documentation for effective resolution.
• Advocate for the resolution of critical issues by coordinating closely with the development team.
• Automate repetitive test cases using automation tools or AI-assisted frameworks (preferred but not mandatory).
• Create and maintain test data to support real-world testing scenarios.
• Assist in setting up and configuring test environments that closely resemble production conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, replicate issues, and document software defects.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide insights to improve software quality.
• Stay updated on emerging QA tools, practices, and industry trends to support continuous improvement.
• Contribute to fostering a culture of learning, open communication, and high-quality standards within the QA team.
• Perform other ad-hoc QA-related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Software Tester or similar role preferred; fresh graduates passionate about QA are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman or JMeter; experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is an advantage.
• Experience in database testing, knowledge of security testing practices, and familiarity with programming languages for automation or AI-assisted automation are added advantages.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, able to multitask, and committed to meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team.
