Job Description
The Research Manager is responsible for leading the research team and overseeing the preparation of Business Overview and Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) sections for IPO prospectuses. The role reviews IPO-related research, ensures the quality and accuracy of deliverables, provides guidance to junior researchers, liaises with investment bankers and regulators, and serves as the subject matter expert for IPO research projects. The Research Manager reports to the General Manager or Research Director and manages approximately 2–3 team members.
Job Requirements
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in IPO research, corporate finance, investment banking, or market research.
- Strong experience in reviewing IPO-related research, particularly Business Overview and MD&A.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a research team.
- Experience liaising with investment bankers and regulators.
- Strong analytical, research, and report writing skills.
