Job Description

  • Drive new business development by identifying and opening new accounts across Malaysia.
  • Adopt a consultative, solution-selling approach to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Conduct customer visits, field demonstrations, and product presentations.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and develop long-term business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Singapore technical/application support team to provide technical solutions to customers.
  • Develop and expand the company's market presence in Malaysia through proactive hunting activities.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through to closing.
  • Travel across Malaysia to meet customers and support business development activities.
  • Work independently with a high level of autonomy and minimal supervision.
  • Support the long-term growth of the Malaysia business with the opportunity to build the local team in the future.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 4–5 years' experience in Technical Sales, Sales Engineering, or Business Development.
  • Hunter mindset with strong new business development experience.
  • Experience in consultative, solution-selling.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation products such as sensors, PLCs, power supplies, electronic circuit protection, machine automation, or ELV/DC solutions.
  • Application Engineers with sales interest are welcome.
  • Independent, self-driven, and willing to travel across Malaysia.
  • Stable career history preferred.
