Job Description

Job Purpose:

Plan, execute and drive individual sales activities in accordance with the agreed strategies set by the Management so as to enable the achievement of the sales targets/objectives of the assigned products/target customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate and contribute ideas in the development of the divisional annual sales plans and the yearly sales targets for supporting the Company’s business objectives.
  • Achieve the sales objectives of the assigned products through building and fostering strong and reliable business relationships with the customers including resolving technical issues faced by the customers and attend to presales inquiry when necessary.
  • Analyse and produce sales forecast/statistics and execute plans to encourage re-ordering of products by customers so that individual sales objectives can be achieved.
  • Penetrate and develop new sales accounts/market so that individual sales performance can be further enhanced.
  • Monitor the performance/trend on customer payments regularly and execute collection plans necessary to ensure timely collection.
  • Keep up to date with the competitors’ products in the market/new products and provide feedback to the Management.
  • Resolve customer issues/complaints speedily and effectively so as to ensure that high level of customer satisfaction at all time. This includes liaising with various department personnel in solving the customer issue.
  • Undertake any other responsibility or task as assigned/directed by your superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • A recognised Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Science or related field of study.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in industrial chemical sales. 
  • Familiar with the industry chemical supplies trends.
  • Excellence communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good negotiator and ability to network and influence people.
  • Good problem solving, result-oriented, self-motivated.
