<p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Field Sales Manager (Ocean &amp; Air Freight)</strong> to lead business development and client acquisition within the <strong>international freight forwarding and logistics</strong> sector.</p>
<p>This role is fully <strong>focused on new business development (100% hunting)</strong>, targeting potential customers in import/export, manufacturing, and trading industries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of <strong>supply chain management, freight operations, trade compliance, and market trends</strong> to deliver tailored logistics solutions to clients.</p>
<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>

<li>Drive <strong>new business acquisition</strong> through proactive sales prospecting and client engagement within the <strong>ocean and air freight forwarding</strong> segments.</li>
<li>Develop and implement <strong>strategic sales plans</strong> to achieve revenue and growth targets.</li>
<li>Identify, approach, and secure new customers — focusing on <strong>hunter-style</strong> business development activities.</li>
<li>Prepare and present <strong>sales proposals, quotations, and logistics solutions</strong> to clients.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with internal operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of <strong>international logistics regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance requirements</strong>.</li>
<li>Analyze <strong>market conditions, customer needs, and competitor activities</strong> to identify new business opportunities.</li>
<li>Monitor and report <strong>sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline progress</strong> to senior management.</li>
<li>Represent the company in <strong>client meetings, industry events, and trade discussions</strong>.</li>
<li>Ensure all business transactions comply with company policies, service standards, and ethical guidelines.</li>
