Drive cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Operations, and Finance/Credit Control on lead flow, delivery commitments, credit terms, and claims resolution.
Ensure compliance with company governance, ethics, and anti-bribery requirements in all contractor and customer interactions.
Manage sales team performance cycles (goal setting, performance reviews, development plans, succession/bench planning).
Proven ability to set measurable sales goals, track performance and implement team-wide incentive plans to drive results
Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent) to manage pipelines, track customer interactions and support account growth
Strong analytical skills to interpret sales metrics, identify underperforming segments and uncover emerging market trends
Familiarity with designing and executing sales strategies, including lead generation plans, territory assignments and upsell tactics
Mentoring and coaching experience to support skills development and performance improvement among junior sales reps
Relationship-building skills and emotional intelligence to manage internal dynamics and build trust with clients and partners
Effective delegation and team management, with the ability to balance individual accountability and collaborative workflows
Sales forecasting expertise using tools like Excel, CRM dashboards or BI software to project revenue and adjust targets accordingly
Commercial and contract negotiation skills, including pricing, payment terms, delivery commitments, and dispute/claim handling.
Experience in project-based selling and specification selling (working with contractors, designers, consultants, and project stakeholders).
Competence in credit and collections management and collaboration with Finance to reduce overdue receivables and improve collection timeliness.
Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills across multiple parties on site and in project environments.
Experience requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant sales experience.
Contacts with main contractors & sub contractors in the building industries
Related experience in the Interior Building materials is an advantage
Singapore-based and eligible to work in Singapore; reliable local travel required.
Valid driving licence and own vehicle required.
Excellent spoken and written English; able to communicate in Mandarin and relevant local dialects
to liaise with contractors/clients as required.
Team player and able to work independently.
Good communication, negotiation, problem-solving and the ability to motivate and guide a team
Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading a sales team (or equivalent leadership responsibility).
Comfortable traveling to project sites and customer locations as required by business needs.
