Job Description

 Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development
  • Identify and target potential clients in the Excavator Industry to expand market share.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and continuously strive to enhance customer satisfaction.
  1. Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and visits to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  1. Product Knowledge
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Excavator Industry, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Stay updated on the company's products, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on the technical aspects of Excavators.
  1. Reporting and Documentation
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for senior management.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in sales within the Excavator
  • Having resources from competitor companies, Volvo, Caterpillar or Komatsu
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven experience in a sales role within the construction equipment parts industry
  • Strong understanding of parts sales techniques and strategies.
  • Experience in managing a sales team is preferred

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of the Excavator Market and industry-specific dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. 

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with customers or attend industry events.
  • Valid driver’s license.
