Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Education Counsellor (Senior) to support students who are planning to pursue higher education locally and overseas. You will play a key role in guiding students through course selection, university applications, and study pathways across multiple international destinations.

In this role, you will engage with prospective students through digital platforms and consultations, providing professional advice and helping them make informed decisions about their education journey. You will also work closely with the counselling team to drive enrolment outcomes while delivering a supportive and high-quality experience for students.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling

• Provide professional guidance to students on courses, universities, and international study pathways
• Advise students on suitable institutions in markets such as Australia, UK, Ireland, and New Zealand
• Build strong relationships with students and parents to support their decision-making process

Student Applications

• Guide students through university applications, admissions requirements, and documentation processes
• Provide advice on scholarships, visa applications, and related admission procedures
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of applications to partner institutions

Lead Management & Conversion

• Manage and follow up on student inquiries, leads, and consultations
• Convert prospective student inquiries into successful applications and enrolments
• Maintain consistent communication with students throughout their enrolment journey

Events & Recruitment Activities

• Participate in education fairs, school visits, and recruitment events
• Support promotional activities that drive student engagement and enquiries
• Represent the organisation in outreach initiatives and student engagement campaigns

Team Contribution

• Share best practices and insights with the counselling team to improve performance
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international education systems and partner institutions
• Support overall team targets and contribute to student enrolment growth

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Marketing, Communication, or related fields
• Minimum 2 years experience in education consulting or study abroad advising
• Strong knowledge of universities and education pathways in Australia, UK, Ireland, and New Zealand
• Proven track record of achieving student enrolment targets
• Strong student counselling and advisory skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong sales mindset with ability to convert student leads into applications and enrolments
• Highly organised and detail-oriented when handling applications and documentation
• Able to mentor junior counsellors and support team performance
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and travel during recruitment events when required
• Prefered mandarin speakers (Read & write)
