Job Description

• Manage day-to-day financial operations: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare project-based budgets, track event expenditures, and monitor profitability.
• Analyze cost variances between estimated and actual event expenses.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Oversee cash flow and working capital for ongoing event projects.
• Handle vendor payments, supplier reconciliations, and client billing.
• Collaborate with project managers and event teams to provide financial insights and control spending.
• Prepare and review management reports for strategic planning and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and banks as needed.
• Mentor and supervise junior finance staff to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in event management, advertising, or media.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, budgeting, and cost control.
• Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., SQL, Autocount, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail.
