Team Leadership & Management

• Create an inspiring team environment with open communication.
• Set clear team goals, delegate tasks, and establish deadlines.
• Motivate, coach, and guide team members, identifying training needs.
• Monitor team performance, report on metrics, and recognize high performance.
• Listen to feedback, resolve conflicts, and encourage creativity and risk-taking.
• Suggest and organize team-building activities.

Operational & Process Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Review internal control processes and recommend improvements.
• Ensure yearly renewals are completed within timelines set by the Broker.
• Act as Person-in-Charge (PIC) for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new client products.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by a superior.

Job Requirements

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in multiple development languages/tools: Classic ASP, JavaScript, SQL, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, OOP, PowerShell scripting, jQuery, JSON.
• Familiarity with IDEs: Visual Studio, VS Code, SQL Management Studio, Postman.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Language proficiency in English and Malay.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ industry experience; prior experience in the insurance or health industry is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in Front-End & Back-End Development, Data Migration, and Query Fine-Tuning.
