Job Description

• Produce reusable, testable, and efficient code, actively participating in code and design reviews to uphold our development standards.
• Design and implement applications that are low-latency, high-availability, performant, and scalable.
• Collaborate with the team to explore and create new designs/architectures with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Engage in service capacity and demand planning, perform software performance analysis, tuning, and optimization.
• Implement security measures and ensure data protection.
• Oversee the deployment of services onto GCP Kubernetes through our CI/CD pipeline.

Job Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of development experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript/NodeJS/Typescript and related frameworks (e.g., ExpressJS).
• Strong understanding of MySQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools, automated testing, asynchronous programming, accessibility, and security compliance.
• Hands-on experience in developing, profiling, and debugging REST APIs.
• Basic comprehension of front-end technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with developing scalable customer-facing applications, working with GCP, and/or managing a team/juniors is advantageous.
