Job Description

Our client is seeking a people-centric and forward-thinking Senior R&D Manager to lead QA, Business Analysis, Testing, and Innovation teams.

This role focuses on strong people leadership, process excellence, and future readiness, while maintaining sufficient technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and translate market trends into actionable innovation initiatives.

  • Lead and develop QA, BA, Testing, and Innovation teams, fostering a high-engagement, high-performance culture.
  • Drive career development initiatives, competency frameworks, and succession planning for non-technical R&D roles.
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance standards aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee quality assurance and testing strategies to ensure product reliability, scalability, and compliance.
  • Strengthen requirements gathering, documentation standards, and cross-team communication through the Business Analysis function.
  • Continuously improve R&D processes, workflows, and collaboration models across teams.
  • Lead the Innovation team in conducting market research, technology trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Translate market insights, user needs, and emerging technologies into structured innovation proposals and feasibility studies.
  • Partner closely with the Technology Pillar to shape future product direction and R&D investment decisions.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Present innovation findings, quality metrics, and strategic insights to leadership.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in R&D, QA, Business Analysis, or innovation-related functions, with strong people management exposure.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical terminology.
  • Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary, non-technical teams within technology-driven organizations.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance people development, quality governance, and innovation initiatives.
