Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly technical and delivery-driven Senior R&D Manager (Technology) to lead our core engineering and project teams. This role is responsible for driving technical excellence, system architecture, and execution across multiple enterprise-scale products, including ERP, POS, cloud platforms, and integrated business systems. 
• This position requires strong technical language fluency, hands-on development background, and the ability to translate complex technical decisions into scalable, reliable solutions while leading high-performing development teams. 

BUSINESS CONTEXT

• Company is building its own ERP system from scratch (greenfield → full product). 
• Development is driven by a strong internal core engineering team. 
• Systems include ERP, POS, cloud platform, e-invoicing, WMS. 
• This role is a technical authority role, not a coordination role. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (WHAT THE CANDIDATE WILL ACTUALLY DO)

• Own the technical roadmap and architecture for internally developed systems. 
• Lead and manage development and project teams (delivery, quality, performance). 
• Set and enforce engineering standards (CI/CD, testing, deployment, code quality). 
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide solution design. 
• Work closely with PMO and management on timelines, risks, and delivery decisions. 
• Develop and coach technical leaders within the team. 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on background as a programmer/developer (past or present). 
• Fluency in technical language (able to discuss architecture, code quality, trade-offs). 
• Experience designing or leading complex, enterprise-scale systems. 
• Strong understanding of: System architecture & scalability, Cloud-based environments, and CI/CD, automated testing, deployment pipelines.
• Ability to review designs and challenge developers credibly.
