Job Description

• Work with Project Managers in executing, supervising & assisting in overall Interior fit-out construction from start to finish
• Supervising, meeting and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors on scope of work
• Arrange necessary site protection, hoarding, signage and safety equipment readiness before construction start
• Communicate with Building management on site logistic loading, facilities entry during construction, worker’s access pass & getting ny form of approval from BM
• Reviewing daily construction work and suggesting any improvement measures to Project manager
• Communicating & assisting the progress report update to the PM
• Attending any on-site meetings, joint inspection with PM, consultant / client
• Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards & to educate workers on safety measures
• Evaluating the performance of construction workers and instituting disciplinary measures as needed & report to PM
• Analysing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications as per drawings
• Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency & smooth operations & supervisory onsite
• Regularly checking inventory and quantity for construction materials is sufficient
• Ensuring project completion as per the set timeline & ensure work done is carried out in accordance to the drawings and specifications.
• Assist & tracking for project materials arrival on time and control storage management on site
• Willing to learn & providing hands on solutions with Project Manager during construction progress.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least SPM, Professional certificate, Architecture or equivalent
• Willing to learn Required skill(s): MS office, Microsoft Project Schedule
• Willing to learn & assist under PM through-out construction progress
• Required language: Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese
• Willing to contribute or work long hours where required prior to project deliverables
• Possess own transport
• Interactive and good in communication
• Able to handle site independently
• Good communication skills, positive working attitude, punctuality with high responsibility, and able to work independently
• Good knowledge in Interior Design & Fit-Out construction sequence of works.
• Self-initiative/proactive/committed is needed
