Job Description
- Manage and administer Solaris/Linux systems in a production environment
- Perform system installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
- Handle Solaris Cluster setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Manage filesystems and storage within Solaris environments
- Conduct performance tuning, monitoring, and system optimization
- Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability and reliability
- Support data center migration activities (if applicable)
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for issue resolution and project delivery
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and reports
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Solaris environment
- Expertise in Solaris administration, patch management & system upgrades
- Experience in Solaris Cluster and Solaris filesystem management
- Performance tuning & troubleshooting
- Preferred to have data center migration experience
- Strong stakeholder coordination
- Fluent in English communication. Bahasa Melayu is added advantage.
- Good in technical documentation writing.
