Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise GIS Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of GIS solutions across multiple business units. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to understand architecture needs, provide technical expertise, and deliver GIS-based solutions that seamlessly integrate with enterprise IT environments. You will be responsible for owning the entire architecture development process, from strategic planning to deployment.

• GIS Technology Expertise & Solution Delivery
• Fully proficient in leading GIS software, including desktop, server, and mobile capabilities.
• Lead the technical execution and delivery of enterprise GIS solutions for clients.
• Design and implement GIS-based enterprise solutions, ensuring integration with non-GIS information systems.
• Provide strategic analysis, platform selection, and solution implementation guidance.
• Enterprise GIS System Development & Integration
• Work closely with customers to analyze business workflows, define requirements, and implement GIS solutions.
• Build and optimize integration capabilities between GIS platforms and enterprise systems.
• Advise on database design and spatial data modeling best practices (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, UML, Geodatabases).
• Configure and manage enterprise GIS servers and web GIS environments.
• Performance Optimization & System Administration
• Conduct system capacity sizing, load testing, and performance tuning.
• Manage enterprise IT infrastructure, including networking, virtualization, and backup/recovery solutions.
• Ensure GIS platforms adhere to best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering.
• Professional GIS certifications (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 4 years in Enterprise GIS system development and implementation.
• Strong background in enterprise GIS architecture and system integration.
• Expertise in enterprise GIS servers, web GIS platforms, and spatial data management.
• Proficient in SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL for database management.
• Strong IT/network knowledge for system deployment and administration.
• Experience with HCI/virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Proficiency in Windows Server & Linux OS management.
• Knowledge of backup & disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate business needs into GIS solutions.
