Our client is a fast-growing regional digital-transformation company delivering web and mobile solutions, especially for banking and insurance.

You will collaborate closely with Artificial Intelligence and Data Science teams to develop and maintain innovative projects. In this role, you will lead a team and work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and deliver robust solutions.

• Leading the development of innovative features and architectural designs within the insurtech space.
• Establishing and upholding coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Overseeing the identification and resolution of complex technical challenges, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Continuously exploring and adopting new technologies, frameworks, and tools relevant to software engineering.
• Managing the entire software development lifecycle, including deployment pipelines, configuration management, and production support.
• Architecting full-stack solutions leveraging cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration across systems.
• Implementing and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage and functionality assurance.
• Working closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to convert business requirements into actionable development plans.
• Managing technical documentation, including system architecture, API references, and development workflows.
• Leading and mentoring team members to foster a high-performing, collaborative engineering team.

Job Requirements

• 6–7 years of hands-on software development experience, with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions.
• At least 1 year of team leadership and mentorship experience.
• Strong expertise in designing enterprise-level, resilient, and scalable architectures.
• Proficient in designing and implementing both frontend and backend APIs of moderate to high complexity.
• Advocate for automated testing, including unit and integration tests.
• Experienced with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Skilled in building CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines, with SOPs for testing and documentation.
• Proficient with serverless technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent services across cloud providers.
• Strong knowledge of tech stacks such as Next.js, Node.js, React, TypeScript, Python, Microservices, MongoDB, DynamoDB. Experience with Go is a plus.
• Familiar with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Experience delivering GenAI projects and familiarity with concepts such as prompt engineering, tokens, completions, vector databases, RAG, etc.
• Familiarity with Git-based source control and branching strategies using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Working knowledge of Agile and/or Lean methodologies using tools like Confluence and JIRA.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is a plus.
• Experience with MLOps/AIOps is a plus.
