Job Description

The Technology Consultant will enhance sales productivity and support ArcGIS adoption by providing expert guidance on IT, GIS, imagery, AI, 3D, and ArcGIS throughout the sales process. 

• Technical Consultation & Solution Design
• Provide expert guidance on IT, GIS, imagery, AI, and 3D applications to clients.
• Design and implement enterprise geospatial systems tailored to customer needs.
• Develop customized demonstrations to showcase ArcGIS capabilities and solutions.
• Sales & Pre-Sales Support
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and recommend solutions.
• Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Support tender proposals and technical documentation preparation.
• Innovation & Problem Solving
• Leverage AI/ML, 3D modeling, and remote sensing to solve complex geospatial challenges.
• Analyze business and technical challenges, providing strategic insights and solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging GIS, AI, and cloud technologies to drive innovation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Geospatial Information Systems, Remote Sensing, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, with knowledge in the following areas being advantageous:
• Enterprise GIS system design and IT infrastructure.
• Remote sensing workflows and 3D data visualization.
• AI frameworks for geospatial data processing.
• Geospatial Imagery & Remote Sensing
• Proficiency in handling satellite and aerial imagery.
• Experience with image processing software (e.g., ENVI, ERDAS Imagine, ArcGIS Pro).
• AI & Machine Learning
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques for spatial analysis or geospatial data integration (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
• 3D Modeling & Visualization
• Experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools such as ArcGIS Pro 3D Analyst, CityEngine, Blender, or CAD/BIM software.
• Enterprise GIS & IT Infrastructure
• Knowledge of ArcGIS platform, enterprise GIS system design, and IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with GIS system administration and integration with external identity sources using SAML or LDAP.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing complex business and technical issues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, in Malay and English.
• Ability to present technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive learner who stays updated on technologies, AI, Big Data, Cloud, and 3D trends.
• Effective presentation and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging partners, customers, and internal teams.
• Technical writing skills for creating detailed proposals, assessments, and documentation.
